It's been raining for three days now......a heavenly sound on the roof. Unfortunately it's also freezing cold and foggy here in Toowoomb!!
The Wild Child got his learner's permit a couple of weeks ago, so now we have the "100 hours" to get through in the year. While it's good that the kids are getting so much experience before finally driving out there on their own, it is a bit taxing on the parents.....or parent in our case! Mind you, I have friends with twins.....make that 200 hours they have to find between their two boys :-s
So anyway, today's drive was in the rain and fog, and a very good experience for the boy.....he finally understands my "two hands on the wheel" rule!!!
The last few weekends have been very busy, family-wise.
On the work front, Mary and I finalised the new buttons for Lynette. So, so cute......wish I could show them off, but instead here is Mary, paintbrush in hand.....
I've also finished the sample for Pen to Paper, but am waiting for it to come back from the Melbourne Trade Show to take a good photo. This is a quick one taken before it went off on it's journey down there.....
I love the colours in these fabrics.
It's very late, and I'm having touble yet again with typepad tonight, so I think I'd better leave it there and get some sleep.
Ciao for now
Leanne xx
It has been really foggy and rainy here hasent it. Great to see another Toowoomba creative girl blogging.

I love your "Pen to Paper"!!! The colours are so beautiful. My DD2 turns 16 in January so I guess I'll have 100 hours to look forward to as well ;o).

Hey Leanne! It was SO NOT fun driving out to highfields in that thick fog! I've decided that I like that otherworldly atmosphere fog creates - as long as I'm inside with a hot cuppa looking out at it! Tee! Hee! Hee! The revamped version of the writing set looks great, too! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Yay for the rain!! That's awesome! Although - I'm not a fan of foggy Toowoomba weather. I was supposed to come home (Dalby) this week too... and had some appointments in Toowoomba while home... after reading your post I'm glad that I didn't!!! MISERABLE!!!

Every rainy season, I and the kids would always play indoor games, for us not to get bored. Or sometimes, we would enjoy the rain by going outside, and playing under the rain. So fun!
